A poetry/spoken word open mic featuring improvising instrumentalists! Give the musicians as much or as little direction you like – a personality trait, a painting, a performance direction, or just say ‘follow me’ and see what happens…
Hosted by Leo, Vato, and Amy, we invite you to Centrala at 6pm to experiment: come, perform your poetry to live, improvised music!
There will be open mic slots available for the second half of the night. If you’d like to perform, come chat to one of us and we’ll get you up on stage.
For our anniversary special, we are incredibly excited to give our wondrous host @hopeless_bromanticc some time with the band!
There will be laughs (?), there will be tears, there will be other kinds of emotions, and there will be improvisers and poets.
Pay what you can on the door (£3/5/7/9), we hope to feed our artists!
Some works may contain triggering content, we will encourage poets to provide trigger warnings before their pieces, however we cannot ensure these will cover everything
