We warmly invite Central and Eastern European (CEE) community leaders in Birmingham to join us for an important online meeting this August. Together, we will explore some of the key health-related challenges affecting our communities, with a particular focus on mental health, access to services, and raising awareness of the support available locally.
We’re pleased to share that Councillor Mariam Khan will be present at the meeting to hear directly from community leaders about these issues. We also hope to be joined by some of our board members who support our ongoing work on tackling health inequalities within the CEE community, helping to ensure our projects are guided by real insight and lived experience.
During the meeting, we will present some initial findings from our recent report for public health, which looks into the mental health needs of CEE communities in Birmingham. Beyond sharing data, this meeting is a space to discuss your experiences, highlight concerns, and exchange ideas about how we can work together to improve health and wellbeing outcomes across our communities.
For everyone who registers, a Zoom link will be sent out a couple of days before the meeting.
