In conjunction with Doc’N Roll Festival, US documentary-maker Daniel Weintraub will present Deep Listening: The Story of Pauline Oliveros, a film about the iconic composer, performer, teacher, philosopher, innovator, and humanitarian, with previously unseen archive footage and featuring interviews from musicians and artists including Laurie Anderson, Thurston Moore, Anna Halprin, Terry Riley, Alvin Lucier and Oliveros’ life partner IONE. There will be a Q&A after the film, chaired by Ian Francis Director of Flatpack Film Festival with The Director Daniel Weintraub and via Zoom IONE.
