Eastern Incantations Part 2
Centrala brings two nights of eclectic live music from a wide range of international musicians living in the UK. As we slowly adjust to returning to social norms in the post-pandemic world, we focus once again on forging collaborative artistic alliances, with the goal to present wider view of what migrant and diaspora art and artists offer in the post-Brexit UK.
Saturday March 19th will showcase a range of more experimental, sound-art direction with performances from:
*BEER (Birmingham Ensemble for Electroacoustic Research) featuring Scott Wilson, Norah Lorway, Simon Smith and Milad Mardakheh
*Oliwia Radomska, a Polish composer presenting her ambient, spectral Audiovisual piece Magellan C.L.O.U.D.
*Cristiana Ilie, who produces noisy sound-worlds using synthesizers, keys and pedals, coupled with projections.
*Ewa Justkaand, Aimo Scampa of Measure Maniac¬†–¬†electronic acid-technoise artist specialising in noise-based sound-art, Optotronics, DIY Synths and Eurorack Systems.
*EiF, will close the night with a dance party set.
