CENTRALA PRESENTS: GUM TAKES TOOTH | MOTHS OF THE MOON + MORE

Experimental noise, Post Punk gig in Birmingham at Centrala, Friday 27th June 2025

GUM TAKES TOOTH: Recalibrating their signature enmeshing of drums and electronics they landed on a propulsive all-electronic delivery that stubbornly eschews genre constraints while maintaining the duo’s clear affinity for the rattle and rumble of bass bins under duress. Thus was birthed a unique amalgam of industrial grime aerobics, sci-fi mutant 808 protest music and hands-in-the-air rave bangers.

Moths of the Moon are duo Sam Owen and Max Simpson, vocalist/multi-instrumentalists from the band Pram [Domino Recording Company]. Their music occupies the darker, more haunted, fragile end of Pram’s spectrum with music boxes, violin, flute, glockenspiel, toy accordion and ethereal vocals.

Monoxide Brothers are a Birmingham-based experimental electronic noise duo known for their raw, beat-driven live sets and use of begged, stolen, and borrowed tech, transmitting adrenaline and anxiety into fuzz-fuelled, raw electronic tracks.

FACTORY CULT‘s debut gig as a New project from members of Machiavellian Art, expect icy post punk with an industrial edge.
