As part of Black History Month, 2Funky Arts will be touring around the Midlands with 12 exciting artists across Black, Caribbean, and African descent. Artists will showcase performance pieces, in art forms such as singing, rapping, dancing. These creative pieces will reflect and celebrate the vibrancy of Black history and culture.
The second stop of this tour is Birmingham, at Centrala. So come down and see an amazing showcase event that represents a diverse selection of Black artists and gives them a platform of self-expression. And Still I Rise is managed by 2Funky Arts and supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
About the organiser: Established in 2007, 2Funky Arts (2FA) is a social enterprise, dedicated to advancing and celebrating arts and music of black origin. Our projects work instinctively to stir emotion, provoke debate, nurture collaborations, and push boundaries across sub-genres.
