A Field Guide to Pebbles

Framed by Lynne Plowman’s Ivor-Novello-nominated set of percussion duets A Field Guide to Pebbles, Millennial Percussion presents another hugely varied programme of cutting edge music at Centrala.

Opening with Julius Eastman’s intense ‘ticker tape music’ Joy Boy, this concert features rarely performed works including Stockhausen’s Näsenflugeltanz (inspired by the devil’s flaring nostrils) and the UK première of Westlake’s The Invisible Men – a fascinating and stylish score set to 1906 Pathé brothers silent film Les Invisibles.
