* Alicja Kaczmarek – director and founder of Centrala, Centrala Berlin. Alicja’s dedication to community development, social action and social justice, is rooted in years of professional experience and involvement in promotion of equality and human rights. Alicja has a degree in Sociology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland and an MA in Social Policy from the University of Birmingham.
* Piotr Michalowski – Expert on territorial development and networking. Researcher in the field of culture and international cooperation. Experienced field worker in urban and rural communities. Consultant for national and EU cultural policies. Professional musician and producer. Strongly supporting local activism and process of building social relations. Secretary and Board Member of the European Network of Cultural Centres ENCC in Brussels.
* Agata Lisiak is an Associate Professor of Migration Studies at Bard College Berlin and a co-founder of migART, a repository of activist, research, and teaching projects engaging with migration through creative and collaborative methods. Originally from Poland and based in Berlin since 2005, Agata works at the intersections of migration studies, urban sociology, and cultural studies and has published on urban cultures in Central and Eastern Europe, migration from Eastern to Western Europe, representations of women and girls in popular culture, and creative methods in social research.
* Simina Neagu (b. 1988, Romania) is an arts administrator, curator and writer based in London, currently working as Programme and Operations Coordinator/ Assistant Curator at Iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts). Through public programming and publishing, her research-based and situated practice, facilitates critical reflection, community building and collective learning, often in collaboration with other practitioners. Previous projects have explored diasporic histories, translation, labour and access in the arts, and the construction of public space.
