As part of Supersonic Festival 2018 Centrala is presenting sound performance Melody of Nostalgia by Anna Jochymek in collaboration with sound designer @Malgorzata Mikolajczyk.

Melody of Nostalgia is a participatory performative artwork that celebrates diverse culture/s within a digital sound installation / performance. Eastern European Migrant Women are invited to take part in this project and share with digital recordings of their singing a song, which they feel as nostalgia. All material will be digitalized and mixed into one music piece. It’ll be later vocally interpreted by a male musician/s, singing live in a public space of Birmingham.
