‘A̶l̶l̶ ̶Y̶o̶u̶ ̶ Need Is Love’ Simona Žemaitytė
A̶l̶l̶ ̶Y̶o̶u̶ Need Is Love by Lithuanian artist, Simona Žemaitytė, is a workshop-based video which explores the complex emotions which exist alongside issues of addiction towards love and sex. Using the body and performance, Žemaitytė deploys a diverse range of experiences from five strangers who discuss their relationships with sex and love. The piece will take the audience on a journey through the triggers, boundaries and guilt associated with addiction, that will illuminate a path to belonging and healing.
This exhibition will Launch at Centrala on March 4th from 6pm-8pm. Following this it will be showing at Centrala from March 9th - April 30th.
This exhibition is organised in partnership with the Lithuanian Cultural Attache in the UK and the Lithuanian Culture Institute. Supported by LATGA, Lithuania and produced by Artišokai, Lithuania.
