Old friends…new guises…
Cold Wave Music is the latest offering from the man/the myth behind Xpress mainstays Bo Pilar and the Mountain Valley Boys/Johnny Gash and the Bleeding Cat Faces/Flying Ant Day and definitely one I can’t remember but it was fantastic. With the fantastic Phil Cervi on guitars – the man who was on the stage that day in 2004 when I opened the doors to the Rainbow pub and my world imploded – it’s going to be a classic.
And we’ve got Tokyo Riot Police – fronted by superb ranting poet Frank Delaney aka Long Lost Frank – rock n’ roll and swearing indeed. They’ve been making waves in their native Stourbridge, and being as we like to bring the best of the Black Country over to Brum…it’s going to be a classic (again)
