
We are celebrating our communities and creativity in Nottingham.
Join us for a family-friendly creative event and Concert of Ukrainian band MUHA at New Art Exchange, Nottingham.
We will celebrate the achievements of our 18-month project organised with the University of Birmingham. After 12 months of the Photography Club and artist residency with Paulina Korobkiewicz, we are ready to share the results and celebrate our communities and Nottingham.
The event will include:
– Collage Workshop
– Photo Booth – opportunity to have a professional portraits done
– Presentation of works created
– Great food for everyone
The event will culminate with the performance by Ukrainian band Muha, entertaining us through a sound stemming from eastern roots, a variety of languages and catchy grooves. https://www.muha.co.uk/

Post-Socialist Britain is a partnership project with University of Birmingham looking at Memory, Representation and Political Identity amongst German and Polish Immigrants in the UK. This project focuses on communities and exploring how individuals give a voice to their memories of the past and their connection to the present political moment. At the end of the project Centrala present an exhibition by Paulina Korobkwieicz with project participants.
