Digbeth First Friday – Clothes Swap

Centrala launches its new Repair Café during September’s Digbeth First Friday on 4 September, 5–8pm, celebrating Second Hand September with a Clothes Swap, live clothing repair demonstrations, a DJ, film screenings and a fully stocked bar.

Meet our Repair Café team, see live demonstrations of clothing repairs and different techniques, chat about the project and find out about our weekly Repair Café drop-ins and monthly upcycling workshops.

At the heart of the evening is our Clothes Swap – bring clothes you no longer wear and exchange them for something new-to-you, giving good clothes another life and refreshing your wardrobe without spending money.

How does the Clothes Swap work?

Bring up to 5 items in good, clean condition. You’ll receive a ticket for each item you bring, which you can exchange for something from the swap.

Swap Rules

Up to 5 items per person

Items must be clean and in good condition

No dirty, damaged or broken items

Books, accessories, shoes and other small items are also welcome

No children’s clothes

No electrical items

Come for the swap, stay for a drink and the DJ, and be part of an evening celebrating creativity, reuse and a more sustainable way of enjoying fashion.
