How much do we change when we move to a new country? What do we embrace, resist, leave behind? Can we really, one day, become “truly” British? And what does that even mean?
Join us on Friday 07 February for a 6 hour performance where you’ll witness a cast of migrant creatives performing tasks in an attempt to interrogate and understand the elusive concept of Britishness.
Part exhibition, part performance we invite you to spend time with us at Centrala for as long or as short as you would like and to come back as many times as you want. What would the final transformation be, if any? Come find out!
After the performance, the Becoming British installation will be up at Centrala until 15th Feb.
