The Glass Key was born as an instrumental duo based in London a
lustre ago. It initially comprised Andrea Giommi (Sons of Viljems –
Edible Woman – Leg Leg – The Emerald Leaves – Laura Loriga – Too
Early/Too Late – Shama Rahman) and Nicola Lombardi (Uyuni – Mr.
Brace).
Through studio sessions with the great British drummer Frank Byng
(Snorkel, This Is Not This Heat) drums were added to their live set up
and the addition of the drum set bled into the compositions. The Glass
Key is now a trio of relentless psychedelic groove. Their songs combine
heavy electronic rhythms with layers of guitars and synth riffs. The
result is devilish instrumental music that reflects the different
approaches and personalities of the musicians involved. Apocalyptic.

(Thurston Moore band), Agate Max on violin (Abstract Concrete), Colin
Webster on sax (Idles).
