Join Us for a Special Creative Social Meetup!
As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re coming together as a migrant community to do something positive—connecting, sharing, and expressing ourselves through art and conversation. This month, we invite you to participate in a special collaborative art workshop: “A Creative Table – A Collaborative Art Experience.”
What to Expect?
A space to connect with fellow Central & Eastern European (CEE) migrants – Whether you’re new to our meetups or a regular, you’ll find a warm and welcoming space to meet creatives, changemakers, and community members.
A unique collaborative art experience – Through storytelling and shared artwork, we’ll explore themes of home, migration, and belonging. Participants will sit around a large piece of paper, start drawing or painting in front of them, then swap seats and continue someone else’s work—just like how we all contribute to the communities we live in.
Engaging prompts to spark creativity & reflection – We’ll explore questions like:
What does home mean to you?
If your journey was a colour or shape, what would it look like?
Draw something that represents connection.
An interactive, evolving artwork – Just like migration, this activity is about movement, change, and how our individual contributions shape a larger picture.
Meaningful conversations & community building – This is more than just art; it’s about self-expression, reflection, and shared experiences. After the workshop, we’ll discuss how creativity can support mental well-being and help us make sense of our journeys.
