Casual Bar Staff

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a casual bar staff to work at Centrala during busy evening events.

Freelance

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
• Cleaning of the bar and food storage areas, its surrounds and equipment;
• Carry out duties in accordance with Centrala’s Policies and Procedures
• Carry out any other duty as directed by the duty manager, in accordance with the level of the role
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide excellent guest service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar/food storage area
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register

REQUIRED COMPETENCES

• Support the work of the team and be prepared to support others in their work
• Contribute to the maintenance of a healthy, safe and productive working environment for you, your colleagues, visitors and customers
• Previous experience working for non profit organisation is preferred but not required
• Barista experience is preferred but not required
• Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures
• Undertake training as appropriate

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: £10.90 per hour

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
